Bugs Bugs Bugs

 Some parts of the country are currently dealing with cicadas. Personally (and maybe it’s just me), but I think cicadas + cupcakes = gross. Which is why I prefer fake insects on my cupcakes. The best part about these little critters (besides not being real) is that after you’ve devoured the cupcake you still have a magical glow in the dark ring left to enjoy once the sun goes down or the lights go out. But hey, if eating real bugs is your thing, I’m sure you can fit a fun bug ring alongside a tasty cicada atop a delicious cupcake.
